Holiday Edition Black Box | Althea

Back to beauty. I've been using this Althea Holiday Edition Black Box for the first time. It literally surprised me. Final look will be revealed in the end of the post. 😘

This black Althea box consists of 4 cosmetics which are all in black packaging. Though this box is not longer available on Althea website, but you can still buy the each single item yeah. 😍😍😍

APRIL SKIN Magic Snow Cushion 2.0

I believe April Skin may not be strange for you if you are updated with Korean make up trend. Now I own both first generation and second generation of their best selling Magic Snow Cushion. April skin cushion is best known for its concealing feature. This 2.0 version is an improved version of 1.0 cushion. I can see the concealing effect enhanced my dark circle and dull areas of my face. Fyi, I don't even need to use an extra concealer at all! Thing has pros and cons. The con is it is cakey after few hours of application. It gave me a Korean dewy makeup look, but once it dried, it just can't perfectly stay on my face, and patch around my oily area such as nose and and under lips. It can be solved using a piece of tissue, press gently on your face, let the tissue do the job by absorbing the unwanted oil of your skin and that's it. After that, it stay well on my skin.

SON & PARK All that smoky palette

As you can tell, this palette is made up of warm and cool tone of eyeshadows. From day to night effortless eyes makeup, you just need one palette like this. Less pigmented shades go to the. first two shades from the left, they are for base and some inner corner highlights. While the rest 4 shades are quite pigmented and blendable. I like it wisely match all the colours into a palette. When I want a warm tone eyes makeup, I can effortlessly pop the gold shimmer shade on the center of my lids and the dark brown on my crease and last third of my lids; and the shimmer purple shade on my lids to darken my eye shadows for a night out. The black shade can be a good eyeliner as well.

RIRE Rire Gel Eyeliner

This is the smoothest pen eyeliner I've ever use. I swear! I used to prefer liquid eyeliner than pen eyeliner because I can't find a smooth draw using any pen eyeliner I own. The black colour is rich, paired up with the smooth texture, non-smudge and easy to be removed, the formula is just too great. You must not miss this piece! If you are new to makeup, you can own it, I believe you'll not regret buying it.

MISSHA The Style 4D Mascara

The mascara blush is so define, soft and black. While putting this mascara on, my eye lashes becomes voluminous and soft. I felt an obvious grow of my lashes. I'm loving its non-smudge feature as well. However, it doesn't made my lashes stand upright for hours. If you are looking for volumising mascara, you can have a try.
